Against 1.e4 I always played Alekhine's defence up til now, but I would like to switch from time to time to the Sicilian..
Can an expert on the field point me to the main difference's of the main Sicilian variations (Najdorf, Dragon variations).. the pro and contras of it.
Or personal experience with it would also do!

of all, I'm not an expert. However I'll suggest you to download some games with both variations and play them thru on the board.
Come to ones mind first maybe, is the sigficant difference in the two sicilian variations is, were black in The Dragon variation develop its blacksquared Bishop over g7 and this do not happen in The Najdorf variation.

personally I wouldn't play the dragon or the Najdorf because of the dense theory where knowledge of variations often out weigh understanding. I would try the Kan or Taimanov which are extremely flexible as opposed to the only move Dragon or Najdorf. Understanding is far more important in the Kan or Taimanov.
