HK prize is one of the biggest platforms to share your research, ideas and findings on Hong Kong-related topics. This platform has a wide range of categories to choose from. The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize, hosted by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation and sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, aims to recognize outstanding scientific research pioneers in Hong Kong and those who have a significant impact on the transformation of R&D outcomes in our society. It inspires scientists and researchers in Hong Kong to continue their innovative exploration, establish themselves in Hong Kong and serve the nation and the world.

BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PRIZE is open to scientists or research teams whose research is carried out primarily in Hong Kong, universities, industry-education-research bases and institutes set up by Hong Kong higher education institutions, or those located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is an independent merit-based award.

In order to ensure the operation of BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYINNOVATION PRIZE is performed professionally and objectively, an independent review procedure has been established. In addition, all personnel involved in the BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYINNOVATIONPRIZE must support the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and hold high social morality and professional ethics.

The finalists of the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2024 were announced this week at a ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. Pakistani artist Sameen Agha won the Grand Prize for her sculptural installation A Home is a Terrible Place to Love, while Hong Kong artist Michelle Fung took the Women’s Award for her mixed media work Red Bean Stalk.

BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYINNOVATIONPRIZE is an annual competition that invites students from tertiary institutions across Hong Kong to showcase their creativity, unrestricted by medium. It has been welcoming students from a diverse range of backgrounds for more than 20 years and tests their academic and business skills, as well as their professional judgement. The top teams receive cash prizes and valuable internship experience at top businesses in Hong Kong. BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYINNOVATIONPRIZE has also been known to provide an opportunity for young people to develop their soft and hard skills through teamwork.
